I am so excited! Wrestling101 asked me awhile ago if they could use my photos of professional wrestler Chris Masters in an interview they were working on. Of course I said yes and have been patiently awaiting it’s arrival. It’s finally here! Yay! I have butterflies in my stomach. :3
Well, he’s got an appointment with the specialist next Tuesday morning. I’m praying that whatever has been ailing him for the past 6 years is easily treatable. Actually, scratch that.. just being treatable would feel like a miracle to us.
Spent half the night in ER with Kyle… trying to figure out what is going on in his head. His face is starting to go numb now on the left side, no sign of stroke though, thank god and the cat scan turned out to be negative but FINALLY they have referred us to a specialist. Hope they can figure it out..
I wish I could take his pain for myself just so he could feel better.
I promised myself I wouldn’t buy anymore camera stuff until I payed off my credit cards. THIS IS SO HARD.
I know I’ve been slacking here on the updates. To be honest, I’m trying to find a better blogging (particularly for photographers) website. Not that anything is wrong with Tumblr here I just am looking for something that is more user friendly to people that don’t have accounts. I hate when users have to create an account to be able to communicate with someone.
And I’m also ready for a fresh start. I’m thinking of a marriage blog (scrapbook sort of blog) for the more personal things in my life and then a separate blog for my photography ventures where I can talk about idea’s and inspiration and offer tips and updates and of course, share my work. Right now this blog is sort of a mix of all things and my photoblog is strictly photos, which doesn’t feel personal enough to me. I don’t feel like I’m connecting with people and that’s the exact opposite of what I want. I want people to know who I am when they work with me and what I have right now isn’t cutting it for me.
I had my first biggest WOW factor so far concerning my photography this week. A couple in North Carolina is getting married in the fall next year and they are interested in flying me up there to photograph the event. If it happens I’m thinking of turning it into a vacation for me and Kyle.
On a lesser cool note I’ve managed to get myself a UTI. Ugh. I’ve been calling the doctors for the past few hours trying to get them to call me in an antibiotic so I don’t end up in the ER, miserable, later this weekend. Come on.. work with me doctors. I know you guys have all (well, a lot) of the money in the world to spend but I really don’t.
